Day01 - Cochin Welcome to your "Golden Kerala" tour! On arrival at the Cochin airport or railway station on own, you will transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon, you will visit fascinating sights like the Chinese fishing nets, the St. Francis Church, Mattencherry Palace and the Jewish Synagogue, the oldest living Synagogue in the world. The rest of the evening is free. Overnight stay at Hotel . Day 02 - Munnar This morning proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar, a popular getaway retreat during the British Raj. Surrounded by lush green tea estates and situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, this picturesque hill station boasts of exotic flora and fauna. On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 03 - Munnar Enjoy visiting sections of Old Munnar, which includes the charming old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews. You will also visit Mattupetty Lake which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam there. The afternoon is at leisure to absorb the beauty of this hill station. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 04 Departure Transfer to Cochin airport / railway station. Day 04: Periyar – Alleppey Alleppey is one of the most magnificent backwater sites of India. It's famous for its boat race. Dutch and the Portuguese were the initial rulers of Alleppey. Later, Maharaja Marthandavarma came to power and developed the infrastructure of the place. Alleppey is also famous for its coir factories.. Overnight stay at Alleppey Day 05: Kumarakom – Kovalam Kovalam is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches world-famous beach resort, which has been a favorite spot for tourists since 1930s. This beach has lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sands. Kovalam is the best place for relaxation. It has three different beaches of which the Lighthouse beach is the most famous beach. Day 01 - Cochin Arrival at Cochin international airport and transfer to Hotel. On arrival check in hotel at Cochin. Local sight seeing and over night at Cochin. Guide for shopping at Seemati/Jayalekshmi Day 02 - Munnar After breakfast proceed to Munnar. Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. On arrival check in Hotel at Munnar and overnight at Munnar. Day 03 - Thekkady After breakfast proceed to Thekkady/Periyar. On arrival check in to the hotel at Thekkady. Evening boating at periyar lake and Visit The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kumily, Murikkady, Pandikuzhi, Vandanmedu etc. Over night at thekkady. Day 04- Kumarakom After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom the charming emerald peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake takes you into the heart of the scenic lake where you will come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes. Sightseeing in Kumarakom include Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist's paradise is favourite haunt of migratory birds like the siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Overnight stay at Kumarakom Day 05 - Houseboat After breakfast transfer to houseboat. On arrival check in to the houseboat. Overnight stay at houseboat with fallboard. Day 06- Kovalam Spend the day at leisure by the beach. Overnight at Kovalam. Kovalam: Located 16 km south of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) city, Kovalam is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches world-famous beach resort, which has been a favorite spot for tourists since 1930s. This beach has lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sands. Kovalam is the best place for relaxation. It has three different beaches of which the Lighthouse beach is the most famous beach. Ayurvedic treatment is another attraction of Kovalam. Day 07- Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam This morning you will be transferred to Kanyakumari , the lands end of India. Lunch at Hotel. After Lunch Visit Kanyakumari Mandir, Tri-Samudra Milan, Gandhi Mandapam In the evening you will visit the Vivekanand Rock Memorial and return to the mainland to see the spectacular sunset in the Arabian Sea. Back to kovalam and overnight at Kovalam. Day 08 – Departure After breakfast proceed to Trivandrum Air port and Fly back. Total Cost Euro-300/- P. P (Twin Sharing basis)
